Our Memorial Weekend

We had a pretty full weekend. Saturday morning we went to cemetaries and put flowers on the graves of our loved ones. Later got ready to go out for supper with our friends Norm and Patti. We went to Lakers Resturant in Hamilton Indiana, and the steaks were great. We had not been with Norm and Patti much since just recently they got back here from staying in Texas for the winter. We came back to our house and visited. They invited us to come to their house for a cookout Sunday so we went to their house and watched Indy 500 with them. We spent the day and part of the evening it was a great time. Monday we stayed home and Dennis put a new belt on the truck and waxed the Torrent. Car looks great he did a good job detailing it. I puttered around my flower beds and garden. Just don't want the weeds to take over. We really had a good weekend. Memories flowed of our loved ones. My family lost a dear friend on Friday. Carol Stantz she had been ill. She was a long time friend she will missed greatly. Thoughts & prayers for her family. Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.

Congratulations College Grad Caroline!!

We all are so proud of Caroline!! We are so proud of Caroline getting her Masters in Physical Therapy!! It was a great party !!

It was fun having the campfire and listening to her friends and family how much fun they were having. Parents of the graduate Caroline is our friends Steve and Pat Dettmer.

Our Weekend Was Busy!!

We had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday we went to Coldwater to meet with friends to our first carshow of the season. We had fun!! Of course supper afterwards and came home and crashed. Got up Sunday and picked up Dennis brother Dewey we went to meet their sister Susie and husband Larry in Fort Wayne to take Susie to lunch for Mother's Day. We ate at Lone Star. Lunch was good MMMM!!! It was good getting together with them. When Dennis get pictures loaded in computer I will have some in our carshow blog.

Went to Sharon's to Visit

We went to sister Sharon's to visit in Ionia Michigan this weekend. She is doing wonderful. When we got there soon after Ryan and Alexis came. We visited for a bit and then took a walk and visiting and did not realize 3 hours had past it was a nice walk. We went to Apple Bees for supper. Sharon is doing good and ready to enjoy her retirement. Chris is staying with her till she is aloud to drive again and she goes back to doctor on 23rd they will let her then I am sure. It is such good to know that both Susie and Sharon are doing good . These girls have been through so much with their surgeries.

Our neice Sheila and Steve were united Saturday April 28th at Harrison Lake. It was a beautiful day after the wedding we all went to Wauseon Fairgrounds for the reception.

Great News!!

Dennis sister Sharon was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. She says she feels good and glad to get out. With all your prayers and thoughts we thank you all again for helping her through this. We might be getting rain now but we feel sunshine and happiness in the family and that family is getting their health back. Thanks again for all your prayers and thoughts!!!!!

As all our friends and family have been puttting us in their prayers for Dennis sister Sharon we need to update and say we talked to her on the phone Thursday evening they have her in regular room in the heart ward. She has been eating a little and she has walked some. With all your prayers and well wishes we appreciate all of it. Now it is with time and her taking care and do what the doctors say & she will be home soon. Again thank you all so much.

Sister Sharon

As our friends and family know Dennis sister Sharon went for heart surgery on April 17th. It was aproximately 4 hour surgery. With all the prayer and emails we have gotten we felt we needed to put a message on the blog. Sharon is off the respirator breathing on her own. Sharon today is still in ICU and a bit under and feeling tough but with rest she will be doing well soon. We want to thank all of our friends and family that have put her in your prayers and asking about her. Please continue the prayers to keep her recovery coming along. Keep you all updated as she gets better. Love Ila
