January Almost Over

So ready for spring!! January has been exceptionally cold with lots of snow. We have not done anything to exciting to post. We got a good 7-8 inches of snow last night and this morning. We are so ready to have spring arrive. Being so cooped up and going a bit depressed he did get me out last Saturday and we used a wonderful gift certificate that was given to us and went to Lone Star. It was a great evening. Felt good just getting out the two of us and try forgetting problems, weather, and anything else but just enjoying the night. We did!! If your cooped up and feel a bit down recommend to do something out of the ordinary or get with some friends helps believe me it does.

I Am Great Great Aunt Ila!!!

My Great niece Joni and husband Travis are proud parents of Jace Allen. Jace was born January 13th at 7:30 PM. weighing in on 8 pounds 11 ounces. 21 inches long. Parents and baby I have been told doing well. Proud Grandparents is my niece Cherie' and Great Grandparents is my brother Wayne and wife Sharon. They were there when Joni had the baby. As I am hoping when they get back to Ohio that they will have pictures to share. Joni, Travis, and Jace live in Missouri so not sure when we will get to see the little guy. We are so happy everyone is doing fine. Congratulations to the proud parents. Just thinking Great Great Aunt Ila sounds so old but babies are so much happiness in this family.
