Abby update

We have Abby home now. She is doing good. Her little tummy is shaved and has some stitches she goes back in two weeks to get them out. She is walking lightly on her front paws because we had her declawed but they look really good in a couple days she will be herself I am sure of that. She has been giving us a lot of loving so I think she is glad to be back with us even if we put her through all this. We are a family of 4 once again!!

Poor Abby we took her to the vet Wednesday. She had the procedure of being declawed and we had her spayed. We called the doctor and we were told Abby is doing fine. They thought it was best since we have two cats and she had both procedures done she would stay calmer and best for her to stay. So I am really missing her right now. We can pick her up tomorrow. She will have all the shots she needs for awhile so it will be good to have her home. Hope she does not think we abandoned her. We will have to try to keep her calm and doctor said away from Misty for awhile. So Misty will like that. Well I am looking foreward to having her back we got attached to her in the past 2 weeks that is for sure!!

Fast Speed & our fur children

As most of you got our new email address I have to tell you we went to high speed internet and you know you see how they say on commercials that they would never go back to dial up well we are hooked on high speed we are having a lot more fun on computer. It is wonderful. We are happy people. We both can be on our computers and searching and showing each other what we have found. Our nephew Aaron said we came to this century!! Hey were cool people we are keeping up with the times!! The Dossett's are happy!!!!
As for our fur children the update on them getting along is good. Little less growling from Misty. As long as Abby does not aggitate her sister and dare her to growl. Just like kids like to tease one another and I think it is a game to them really. It is not to the point I would trust them together when we are not home but it has come a long way from a week ago so I think they will be fine.

We Are Proud Parents of second fur child, Abby

Hello my name is Misty and I am the oldest fur child I am 9 years old. I am giving my parents a hard time right now. They have rocked my world so I am rocking theirs. I did not ask for a sister how dare they! I will have to give in eventually but not without some stress involved. I love my parents and I know they love me I just have to be heard!! They felt the same way about me when they got me to all mushy and had to have me too!!! Mommy keeps saying she has enough love for both of us she wants us to get along. We'll see!!!!

Abby playing with her toys

I was trying to get her to look at me

She loves her toys

Yesterday Denny and I were in Bryan I told Denny we needed to get some new welding gloves for the fireplace because old ones had a hole and I burned my finger and I did not want to do that again. So we went to Town & Country that carries a lot of farm stuff and equipment etc. They always have some animals in there they want to sell. Never have felt either one of us about there animals before. We walked in and to the right was a dog in a cage mostly German Shepherd I think. Now it did not bother me that he was in the cage but when we looked to the left there was 2 cats one was beige and white ( Now he looked at us but never really came up and begged for us to pet him) and one that looked like Misty but shorter hair and lot smaller no orange on belly like Misty. I will be taking pictures. She is sooo cute. Only estimated at being 5-7 months old.Well just the looks did not get to our hearts. We got closer and Abby instantly bonded. She stretched her paws out to us looked at us meowed and just wanted attention. We gave it to her and then moved on. Both of us afterwards were thinking oh gosh can we leave her. When we were at the check out we both looked at her and she had eye contact with us and stretched her head up saying don't forget me!! We left. On the way home Denny and I said she has caught our hearts. I laughed at Denny and told him jokingly you might come home tonight and that cat will be here. He got home & I think he was disappointed it was not. I asked Denny what he was really thinking and be serious. He said he really did not want that cat to go to a bad home and if we could save it knowing it will be happy he wanted her. I told him to go get her I was waiting for a phone call and I could not go. Normally Denny would say we will wait and go tomorrow but he wanted her and was afraid if he waited she would be gone. He went this morning. Brought her back and we have been calling her Abby. Now Misty is not right now taking to kindly to her new sister so we have Abby downstairs and Misty up. Tomorrow we will work with them to bond. I was not going to do it by myself and have a catfight. Just hope and pray it works out or we will rotate cats from up and down the stairs. So that is how we got Abby. We will be home most of the weekend working at getting these animals to like each other. I hope!!!!! That is what is going on at the Dossett's I will get some pictures posted as soon as I get some good ones!!
