Have A Great Labor Day Weekend!!

Dennis & I want to let everyone know we wish you all a very safe and happy Labor Day weekend. We have a busy one planned. Saturday & Sunday we are going with friends to Auburn Indiana to Kruse International for the big auction & car show. So the guys will be in car heaven and you know you will see some nice car pics after the weekend is over. It is going to be fun weekend!!! Monday long time friends is coming here for lunch so that will really make a good weekend complete. Again have a great weekend and See you soon!!

We Had Help

My last post I was saying our yard was not looking good. Yesterday Dennis mowed it and loose grass needed definitely picked up. Well today we MOWED AGAIN furrowed it and was going to let it dry and pick it up tomorrow. While I was raking around our neighbor Mike came over and picked the grass all up with his grass catcher. Dennis was at work so he is going to be so surprised. Our yard is wonderful once again thanks to MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike has no idea what this means to me I love looking out at my yard and the past week it was hard to enjoy the view. Now I just keep looking and in awe that it is all cleaned up. THANKS MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!! We have wonderful neighbors I would be lost without them.

Rain Rain Go Away

It has been a very wet week. Our yard looks the worse then it ever has the 20 years we have lived here. Dennis is out mowing now since I have had an injury on mower I slipped I am off the lawn mower. I am sure we are going to have to pick the grass up once he has mowed it once. In the past week from Sunday to Sunday we have accumulated 11.6 inches of rain. So it is going to take time to get this yard back to its beautiful self again. Well Since I am not helping with the lawn I could work on my flowers so hope everyone is keeping their lawns pretty we are going to try to get ours in better shape. Until next time. Our Trip to Butterfly House at Whithouse 8/11

Very relaxing afternoon and was so neat to see all the different butterflies.

Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds were eating the food just outside patio window. It was raining and they hovered.

It was getting dark and have a shadow of hummingbird

Picture is blurry but I thought it was neat to watch them. I can be right up to window and watch them drink. Our cat Abby loves to watch them to. Abby makes a chirping noise when she gets excited and the birds get her going.

Sunday with Larry, Abbey, and Susie

Sunday we met Sue, Larry, and Abbey in Fort Wayne for lunch. After we ate we did some shopping in Sam's Club. Was great seeing them again!!
