Easter Weekend

I know these pictures are well over due just getting them out of camera. We spent Easter weekend with Dennis sister Sharon in Ionia Michigan and we did a bit of site seeing while there and this is some of pictures Dennis took.

Grand River

Sister Sharon out on a dock which was a tad wobbly which she is a bit afraid of water so took her couragefor her to be out there.

When at Grand River I found me a nice fisherman

I like a man that don't talk back LOL!!

Telling his fish story I am sure

Sister Sharon just trying to come up a small hill and her shoes slipped off as she had worn some without a heel and she got laughing so hard had a hard time getting up she did eventually not without her brother snapping a pic first.

Grand River view

Rockford Michigan Dam

People out fishing in the water with their waders too.

Rockford Michigan Dam people fishing and walking around. Far left background is a small park area. You can sit, walk, and they do have trails you can go on.

That is such a pretty picture of the ducks

The Dam and in background Wolverine boot factory

Here Ducky Ducky!! They were walking all around.

The old guy was pretty happy he said just recovering from a heart attack and enjoying his day

Steelehead was the second fish caught that day at the Rockford dam

LIFE IS ABOUT FAMILY

We have had a good life. We share our lives with friends and family. As times are tough now we have to bond more than ever. I have learned from when a young girl you might not have a lot but if you have something to give and can help someone you should. I don't mean money, or so much as materistic things. Your helping hand to help when someone is ill someone needs a trip to doctor, someone needs their home cleaned up a bit, or just to talk to someone who is lonely. Not only does it help them but it is so rewarding to me and make me feel so warm and peaceful that I made a difference. When I can help someone I don't do it not for money I do it because I care. I know helping others are more limited these days with my arthritis getting throughout my body but I will find away to help even if it is only with words of saying I care, I love you or just a hug. I lost my Aunt Jean from Puducah Kentucky this week and we had emails and lots of I love you's. This is a tribute to my Aunt Jean she asked me to never change and always love. I love you Aunt Jean I know you will watch over me. I love you XOXXO.

My siblings agree and we have been working on a day that we could get together with our spouses This Saturday works so we are going My sister Linda and husband Eddie, brother Wayne & wife Sharon My husband Dennis and I are going out to eat and come back here to our home and visit get caught up on family. We all are looking forward to this and hope we can make it once a month date. I am so looking forward to this. As family means a geat deal to me. Not having children my family is our siblings and their families and mean so much. We might not all agree on things but there is never ending love.

January Almost Over

So ready for spring!! January has been exceptionally cold with lots of snow. We have not done anything to exciting to post. We got a good 7-8 inches of snow last night and this morning. We are so ready to have spring arrive. Being so cooped up and going a bit depressed he did get me out last Saturday and we used a wonderful gift certificate that was given to us and went to Lone Star. It was a great evening. Felt good just getting out the two of us and try forgetting problems, weather, and anything else but just enjoying the night. We did!! If your cooped up and feel a bit down recommend to do something out of the ordinary or get with some friends helps believe me it does.
