Time To Decorate

This has been quite a week. Starting Monday Dennis helped get all the boxes and trees out of the closet. While he was working I started to get them up. It took several days to get things up and looking like the holidays around here. Now I need to start making the goodies. Christmas will be here before we know it!!!

My Birthday

Well another birthday came and went November 29th. Yes I AM OLD and sometimes feel it to. Dennis & I went out for lunch. Going out this evening to we will have more time to enjoy a better meal as Dennis had to work on my birthday. It was wonderful my niece Aimee remembered and gave me a call after she got off work. It meant a lot to me. I called our friend Norm whose 70th birthday is the same day as mine. Norm and wife Patty are in Texas for the winter so a little hard to celebrate together. They were disappointed they did not beat me calling him. They sang Happy Birthday to me and we had a great visit. My girlfriend Nancy sent me a pretty cute card also. Thanks to all that remembered.

Another weekend Has Passed

Just seems like weekends go by so fast. Saturday we went to Fort Wayne to our friends Nancy & Tom's. Each year we get together between all four of our birthdays and go out to eat and this past weekend was it. Our Birthdays are close so it works out. It was a great visit. Sunday it was rainy and gloomy here we just hung around home. It was a pretty quiet weekend .

Our Weekend

We started our Saturday working on all the leaves in our yard needed picked up. I took the blower and got all the leaves close to the house out where he could get them with leaf catcher. It took him awhile but for now yard does not look to bad. But more to come down that is for sure. Saturday evening we had several couples to the house we go to car shows with to just get together and visit. Everyone brought a dish to pass and it was a lot of fun. We went downstairs to family room and shot pool and did a lot of looking at car pictures Dennis had taken through the summer. We had cake and ice cream for Tom & Ed's birthdays before it got to late. We were having such a good visit can you believe my hubby did not take one picture of the fun we had. I think he is slipping!! It was fun and we had a great time. Sunday we just got up did things around here in morning then we went to Fort Wayne did a little shopping & walked around the Mall. Ate supper in Auburn at Pizza Hut. Came home and playing on computer. Hope everyone had a good weekend we did!!
