Good Weekend

We had a good weekend. After the busy weekend we had in Columbus last weekend we decided to stay close to home and get a few things done. Saturday morning Dennis put a new garage door opener on the pole barn because our old quit on us. It went well no big problems. I helped when he needed me but other than that I just did laundry & fixed lunch. Read on a book that I have borrowed from Susie setting on front porch just hanging out till it was time to get ready to go for supper with four of our friends. Norm & Patti and Connie & Warren. We six went to Angola and ate at Ruby Tuesdays supper was good. We came back to our house and showed them our pictures we took at the Good Guys car show. It was a good evening and as usual went way to fast. Sunday we got up and worked on the garden. I picked beans while he tilled the garden. I was so happy I got 6 quarts of beans out of the garden. The rain perked our garden up great. We were so afraid we would get nothing much out of it. We did see some cantelope developing so we are happy. I made up some pickled beets too. So it was a pretty productive day. Now we are going to relax the rest of the evening and watch some movies. Hope everyone had just as good a weekend.

9th Good Guys Nationals in Columbus

Just no way we could even begin to put all the pics he took at this show. To choose our favorites we could not do that either so many really nice cars. Our friends and family will see them when we get together. We had a great weekend and sure we will go back next year!!

Good Guy Car Show

We went to Columbus to the Good Guys 10th annual PPG Nationals at the Ohio Expo Center this weekend. Wow!! What the cars that was there. Now I just could not put any favorite on here there was to many great cars to have a favorite. Over 6000 cars there this year. Dennis took ovr 300 car pictures at the show. We left Columbus on Sunday morning early so we would not miss the car show at Arnold's drive in at Decater Indiana before we went home. There was 81 cars there. Met up with several of our friends while we were there. we had a good time there to. So you can see Dennis and I had a full weekend. Soon as he gets a few pictures out of camera will share a few with you. We had a great time!!!!!

It was a gloomy morning and not as many planes there as in the past . We enjoyed the ones that did show up. Afterwards we went to the neighbors for a cook out, relaxed, and visited. It was a good fourth for us. Hope the same for all you.
