Between The Rain Showers

Between the rain showers I knew my iris's were blooming I had to take some pictures of them because being the rain was not getting me to be outside and enjoy them. I took the camera the last time I took a walk last week of the pond or use to be the gravel pit. Few pictures of nature.

Soggy Weekend

Now this is not the plan we had for this weekend. Nothing but gloomy wet weather. Looking at the extended forecast not going to change anytime soon. We had planned on getting together with our friends and going to Coldwater to the carshow. Well with the weather that has been upon us we gave our friends an option. We have 5 DVD's of the Old Route #66 Mother Road we told them if they wanted to come here we could have a potluck and watch the DVD's . Guys were for that. We had 4 couples join us. We had a good supper as always girls make good stuff. Eat way more than you need to. It did not take the place of carshow just helped the being not so bummed we did not go. With visiting and eating we did not get all the DVD's watch so everyone says we will continue it the next time their here. It was fun and I always love having them here. It is Mother's Day so I want to wish all Mom's Happy Mother's Day !!!!!!

Latest excitement with Abby

Well I have not told you anything funny or eventful on the Abby situation. 80% of the time she is the most adorable little fur child we would want. BUT!!! Yesterday morning at 7:20 AM I was awaken by a crash. At first I thought waking up is someone trying to get in well then quickly I knew it was Abby. She had gotten on top of the kitchen table, ( Which I dispise a lot of any animal on my table) stretch her little body as far as she could and knocked off some things that was in the shadow box. It was wood pieces of things we got from Dennis's Mom & Dad. Well when they fell hit the wooden table then rolled to the floor and made another crash and her batting them around soon wakes a person up. She was really wound at that point. Finally about an hour later she was back to normal and loving once again. WELL THIS MORNING AT 5:30AM !!! I had woken up again the same way as yesterday. Same things so now I have all the stuff that was on the bottom shelves of the shadow box removed. The bummer of all this Dennis never woke up to hear all of this. I went back to bed but never got back to sleep. I heard her caring on & I just let it go and when I got up at 8AM she had spilled her cat bowl with cat food all over kitchen.Batting it around like toys. When she seen me she knew she was in trouble. She darted away from me. I cleaned it up before Butch got up. Not sure if food would have felt to good on bare feet. We scolded her and she was good for a little bit. Well when I was fixing dinner she started in on Misty. She took a dive at Misty I seen it all and all Misty did was bat at her and hiss and growled and walked away. She has never done anymore than that to Abby. Abby is lucky because she deserves to be put in her place and I wish Misty would. Just as she was going for Misy once again I yelled at her and she went and knocked her dish over once again. We put her in time out and she was in basement till she calmed down. It has been quite a morning with her to say the least. Don't get me wrong she is loved and I will never get rid of her but when she is wound up there is no stopping her until you give her time out. This afternoon she is totally different it is so weird. Just thought I would tell you about our little gal Abby. Hope everyone is having a good laugh & a good day!!!
